(ECNS) -- The first batch of 3,000 tents transported by two Y-20 aircraft arrived Tuesday at Karachi Airport to aid flood-hit Pakistan.
China has decided to provide emergency humanitarian supplies to Pakistan, including 25,000 tents and other supplies to help the country survive the disaster, according to the China International Development Cooperation Agency.
The rest of the supplies will be transported as soon as possible.
At least 33 million people have been affected by the devastating floods in the last few weeks, Pakistan's Minister for Climate Change said on Thursday.
