(ECNS) — China has become a net exporter of industrial robots for the first time, as exports of the product exceeded imports in 2025, a customs official said on Wednesday.
Wang Jun, deputy head of the General Administration of Customs, said at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office that China's exports of industrial robots surged 48.7 percent year on year in 2025, while exports of high-tech products rose 13.2 percent.
